Southlake, TX

Patients from Southlake, TX can request individualized wellness support through one Flower Mound office and selected virtual options when appropriate.

Functional medicine for Southlake patients

Most people who make this drive have already been through the standard route — the tests, the reassurance, and the unchanged symptom. The problem is usually not that nobody looked, but that each thing was looked at on its own.

Dr. Ozzie has practised in Flower Mound since 2000 and is a board-certified chiropractor, Texas licence #8418. Laboratory results are read through functional ranges as well as standard ones, which is often where a pattern shows up first.

One person, three interacting systems

The Health Triad Method™ assesses physical, chemical and emotional factors as parts of a single picture.

The physical and neurological side covers movement, muscles and joints, fascia, posture and gait, balance, coordination, injury history and brain-body signalling. The biochemical side covers nutrition, digestion, absorption, hydration, blood sugar, hormones, inflammation, immune activity and nutrient status, alongside what any current medication is doing. The mental and emotional side covers sleep, stress and the real load a life is placing on a body.

Very little goes wrong in only one of those. That is the argument for assessing them together rather than in sequence.

What people arrive with

Thyroid health, hormone imbalance, autoimmune concerns, gut and digestive problems, fatigue, chronic inflammation, blood sugar and insulin issues, brain fog, women's health and weight management.

Where to start: the Health Triad Comprehensive Evaluation™

Ninety minutes in the Flower Mound office, $449. It covers a full consultation with Dr. Ozzie; a detailed review of your history, symptoms, lifestyle, previous care, medications, supplements, past injuries, stress patterns and goals; review of recent bloodwork you send ahead; a professional OptimalDX blood chemistry analysis and written report where you have enough recent markers; identification of the patterns and likely contributors worth prioritising; and guidance on next steps, testing options and care pathways.

Said plainly, because everyone asks: the Evexia Advanced Wellness Blood Chemistry Panel is not automatically included. Many people already have suitable recent labs. Where new testing is genuinely needed, the cost is discussed before anything is ordered.

After the first appointment

What follows is determined by the findings, not by a template. It is explained and agreed rather than assumed.

Sometimes the answer is focused: chiropractic care, applied kinesiology, nutritional therapy, or supplement guidance where genuinely indicated. Sometimes it is further measurement, because the next real question needs data. Where a longer structured program makes sense, one is available, built on the same physical, chemical and emotional framework — and where it does not, you will not be sold one.

If what you actually need is narrower, there are narrower routes: the Executive Biomarker Review™ ($495) for new chemistry plus a virtual review, and the Blood Work Second Opinion™ for interpreting labs you already hold.

How this works if you live in Southlake

Southlake is the longest regular trip to this office — around fifteen and a half miles, usually east on FM 1709 to SH 114, north on SH 121, then across to Cross Timbers Road. Those two highways are the whole journey: easy outside peak hours, considerably less so during them.

Of everywhere the practice serves, this is where travel most deserves to shape the plan deliberately rather than by accident. The sensible pattern is to do everything requiring presence while you are here — the evaluation's physical assessment, applied kinesiology, in-office measurement — and to settle at the outset what can reasonably happen remotely afterwards.

A fair amount can. The wellness panel is more than forty markers, drawn at any LabCorp, with the review by phone or video and written recommendations following. Hands-on chiropractic care cannot be done that way, and requisitions cannot be ordered into New Jersey, New York or Rhode Island.

Before you call

Referral needed? No, you can book yourself in.

Insurance? Cash-based concierge care, with HSA and FSA accepted. Blue Cross Blue Shield is the only insurance the practice takes.

How quickly is there a direction? The evaluation is ninety minutes and ends with the findings and a recommended next step, rather than a wait for results to be explained later.

And if it is not a fit? You will hear that directly rather than being enrolled in something anyway.

Cost, insurance and what to bring

The practice is cash-based concierge care, with HSA and FSA accepted and Blue Cross Blue Shield the only insurance taken. For the first visit bring recent labs, a full list of medications and supplements, and any imaging or specialist notes. Bloodwork sent in advance gets reviewed before the appointment starts.

Before making a drive of that length, call 214-395-7264 and confirm this is the right practice for what you are dealing with.
