Your first visit, explained before you book it.
No mystery, no assembly line — a real conversation, careful testing, and a plan you understand. Here's exactly how an office visit works, and how to find us when you arrive.
Four honest steps — from first hello to a plan that holds.
- 01
An unhurried first conversation
Your visit starts with your story — health history, current symptoms, medications, and goals. You work directly with the doctor, not a rotating cast of staff, and the appointment is never a 7-minute visit.
- 02
Testing chosen for your situation
Based on that conversation, Dr. Ozzie recommends the workup that fits: comprehensive blood work read through functional ranges, body composition analysis, brain & eye health screening, and a hands-on applied kinesiology assessment — including a body-type (genetic constitution) evaluation as part of the initial wellness exam.
- 03
A results review that actually explains things
When results are in, you sit down together and go through them marker by marker. You leave with a personalized plan — chiropractic care, nutrition, targeted supplements where labs justify them — and a clear reason behind each piece.
- 04
Care, re-checks, and self-care you keep
Progress is measured, not assumed: symptoms and labs are re-checked on a defined schedule. The goal is to teach you methods of self-care so you stay healthy without constant visits.
The hands-on half of the practice lives here.
Movement is information.
Lab analysis travels — but these happen only in the Flower Mound office, where the doctor can put hands on the problem:
- 01 Chiropractic adjustments
- 02 Applied kinesiology (muscle-response testing)
- 03 Body-type (genetic constitution) assessment — part of the initial wellness exam
- 04 Body composition testing (bioelectrical impedance)
- 05 Brain & eye health screening
- 06 Detox foot bath

This page is educational and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It does not replace care from your physician. If you have a medical emergency, call 911. Always talk with a qualified provider before changing medication, diet, or supplements.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring any recent blood work or imaging you have, a list of medications and supplements you take, and your questions. If you have prior lab results, Dr. Ozzie will read them through functional ranges — tighter, health-oriented ranges that can reveal patterns a “normal” report misses.
How long does a first visit take?
Plan for a real conversation, not a quick in-and-out. The first visit covers your full history, symptoms, and goals, and ends with a recommended testing plan. Call 214-395-7264 and the office will tell you what to expect for your specific situation.
Where do I park, and how do I find the entrance?
The office is at 1001 Cross Timbers Rd #1020, Flower Mound — in the building called the Atrium, with parking at the building. Our entrance is outside-only: it's to the right of the Calvary Chapel.
What is the body-type (genetic constitution) assessment?
People's structure and metabolism differ by genetic constitution — traditions have called these differences kapha/pitta/vata, or endomorph/mesomorph/ectomorph in the West. As part of your initial in-office wellness exam, Dr. Ozzie evaluates your body type as one more lens on how your metabolism, stress response, and hormonal glands (thyroid, adrenals, gonads) tend to behave — so your care plan is matched to how your body works, not a template.
Do I need a referral to become a patient?
No referral is needed. Call the office or request an appointment online, and we'll schedule your first visit directly. A complimentary consultation is available if you'd like to meet Dr. Ozzie and ask questions before committing to testing or care — see current offers.
What if I can't get to Flower Mound?
The lab-driven half of the practice travels: blood draws can be completed at any U.S. LabCorp near you and reviewed by phone or video. See how virtual care works. Hands-on care — adjustments and applied kinesiology — does require an office visit.
Too far from Flower Mound? The labs come to you.
The same wellness panel can be drawn at any U.S. LabCorp and reviewed with the doctor by phone or video — the complete analysis-and-plan workflow, without the drive.
