You would end up paying both docs anyway. Second sometimes with a functional medicine approach patients can decrease their meds or even get off of them. Yes one doc can prescribe your meds. I especially have a lot of experience with Thyroid issues. We have very good success managing it naturally. That being said every case is unique. Lastly its my pleasure to practice FM and to help my patients.
